From
scrap to MOT |
This is my
first project. As you can see it is a 1966, army Land rover.
I bought it
for 50£. in December 2003.

I
The interior is in bad condition, but it has got a
Faery overdrive in good working order. The Land Rover has been parked
outside for about 10 years. It took a lot of effort to remove it.

This is
doner-car
number two. It's an old fire tender that hasn’t been started for more than
8 years.
It just
needed a new battery, and then... it started just like that…..
Ready to go. |

I bought the new rear frame at Paddock
in the UK. |
I made a frame
template to make it easier to fit the new frame.
New
outriggers are welded on. |
I've cut
away the rusty floor boards. The next step is to weld in new parts.
It is important to test fit the body to the chassis.
Nice fit! |
The next
step is to sandblast the chassis. |
